July’s Theme: Child Maintenance

In July I want to feature the financial challenges of single parenting and the particular challenge of child maintenance.

There are already several blog posts about child maintenance on this site which you can find here, but I want to take some time to focus on some of the basic aspects of child maintenance and dealing with child maintenance avoidance. Hopefully there will be helpful tips for those paying as well as receiving maintenance, as well as food for thought for all of us.

Child maintenance is a highly emotive subject, and it’s easy to get carried away in heated debate. I’m hoping that there will be a beneficial mix of factual, informative posts as well as some of the touching stories that my readers may choose to share with me.
